Training Centre of the Prison Department under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Lithuania and the Czech Prison Service Academy have been in touch over a year with the aim to sign a document on cooperation. Due to the pandemic, the directors of the institutions agreed to meet virtually to officially express their will to cooperate.
On 27th April 2021, Karolina Vozbutaitė and František Vlach met on Skype for Business platform. They introduced their institutions, discussed the aims and the possible forms of cooperation and signed the Memorandum of Understanding.
Training Centre of the Prison Department under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Lithuania is going to send a participant to an international English webinar organized by the Czech Academy in June. Another English webinar planned in autumn of 2021 will be facilitated by a Lithuanian expert.
