Vazební věznice a ÚPVZD Brno

Dne 27. března 2025 se zaměstnanci VVaÚpVZD Brno zúčastnili sympozia „Sociální pedagog jako pomáhající profesionál“ na Fakultě humanitních studií UTB ve Zlíně. Náš stánek byl příležitostí nejen pro náborovou činnost, ale i pro otevřenou diskuzi se studenty o roli sociálních pedagogů v oblasti vězeňství. Ačkoliv jsme na sympoziu nepřednášeli, pro nás byla klíčová interakce se studenty, kteří se zajímali o uplatnění v praxi. Tým brněnské věznice diskutoval se studenty, jaké možnosti nabízí vězeňská služba absolventům studia sociální pedagogiky – od přímé práce s vězni na úseku dozorčí služby až po specializované činnosti na odborných pozicích. Tato akce byla nejen o hledání nových kolegů, ale i o budování vztahů mezi akademickou sférou a praxí, a jsme rádi, že jsme mohli studentům ukázat, jaký smysl a možnosti rozvoje nabízí kariéra v oblasti vězeňství.

 

Czech Prison Service at the Symposium in Zlín: Meeting Future Social Educators

 

On March 27, 2025, employees of the Brno Remand Prison and Penitentiary Facility attended the symposium titled "The Social Educator as a Helping Professional" at the Faculty of Humanities, Tomas Bata University in Zlín. Our booth served as an opportunity not only for recruitment activities but also for an open discussion with students about the role of social educators in the field of corrections. Although we did not give a formal presentation at the symposium, our primary focus was engaging with students interested in practical applications of their studies. The team from the Brno prison discussed with students the opportunities the Prison Service offers to social education graduates—from direct work with inmates in supervision roles to specialized tasks in professional positions. This event was not just about finding new colleagues but also about fostering connections between academia and practice. We were delighted to show students the meaningful impact and developmental opportunities a career in corrections can offer.
